Afterwards I wandered in the torrential rain and wind symptomatic of the typhoon hitting Tokyo until I encountered a delicious (though expensive) Indian restaurant. The architecture in Ginza is fascinating, including Mikimoto Ginza 2 pictured: the latest addition to Tokyo's recent string of successful partnering of renowned architects and luxury brands, designed by Toyo Ito (Tod's Omotesando). The pinkish mauve building is studded with irregularly shaped (and placed) windows.
